Title: Rear Brake Pedal on 1961 A10SR USA Spec.
Post by: Townsend on 31 Jul, 2025, 12:28
I purchased the remains of a rolling chassis of a 1961 A10SR USA spec bike and the rear brake lever that came tied to is part 67-7026 or 7028. When fitted the pedal pad sits about 3" from the foot rest which seems very close. After hours of searching I have concluded that the pedal should be part 42-7044.

Please can anyone confirm that I have the right part number and any ideas where I can get one from? I have tried all the usual suppliers and ebay without success.

If they really don't exist, would it be reasonable to cut the 67-7026/8 version in half and add 3" in the middle?

You could phone this bloke here > https://sites.google.com/site/priorymagnetos/home  I know he's renovated and built a couple so he might have a spare or know someone who has. A10's are his thing.
