Does anyone have any history on this registration number.  SVS 378

Thanks in advance

Sounds age-related, so likely there's not much history to be had.

The "VS" reg is Greenock - but my records don't show "SVS xxx" being issued, other than "SVS xxxJ" and "SVS xxxK".  I think it's probably one of the series issued by DVLA for age related registrations.

Shows as taxed and last V5 issued Feb 2025. Registered 1975 so could be original reg number.

My observation is dateless numbers in the SVS series were issued in the 1990s as age related numbers. 378 probably 1993. From December 1991 age related numbers issued to pre 1963 vehicles were issued as "Non transferrable" and the V5C marked as such.

The date of manufacture of 378 being shown as 1960 and the date of registration being shown as April 1975 would suggest that whatever number was issued in 1975 was sold or transferred.
