Title: Neutral
Post by: Mikey82 on 03 Jul, 2025, 21:42
Took 1963 Golden Flash out for run today ran brilliantly couldn't believe the power, only niggle is trying to find neutral was a bit of a pig.
I've checked and adjusted cable as suggested on this forum, it is a new clutch so maybe I need to strip and check plates.
Any ideas what I need to look for?

Check the run-out on the clutch pressure plate and adjust as needed.

Try adjusting the gearbox cam plate selector plunger. The manual indicates that with the gearbox in neutral, there should be one thread showing on the plunger housing after the lock nut is tightened.

This is a very easy and quick adjustment.
