Hi all. I am hoping to buy a 1954 B33 and i have the numbers. Once before someone matched the numvers and gave me history of bike, where sold and if private sale or to which department. I am hoping for some help again with a potential new bike i may buy.

I am in the BSAOC but cannot find a place where you can get things dated.

I don't know if it matters , they aren't the dearest motorcycle, if it's tidy or a good price go for it , mines had a replacement motor and I enjoy getting out and about on it .Cheers
Check that engine number - the B33 number would have started with a 2 letter prefix then 33 - 1954 models would start BB33 or MB33 if supplied for a M33. There would not be another letter mixed in the the number like the T.
