Title: auto electricians
Post by: chrisx1 on 19 May, 2025, 20:48
Are there any members near Stratford upon Avon that are good with electrics and fault finding. I have been rewiring my A65 and it blows the fuse the moment I put it into the holder. I cannot see what is wrong. I have disconnected the lights and brake light to eliminate them but still it blows.
I'm at my wits end.

As you have a short wire a bulb across the the fuse holder. The bulb will light. Now you can move the wiring until the light goes out, this will enable you to find the problem.

I like that idea if it stops me wasting fuses
