Hi. Happy to be on here as it means i am doing something worthwhile.
So i have a C15g with a Smiths speedo, the grey one. Number is SSM2001/00 as far as i can tell.
The 00 is for 80mph
The 01 is for 100mph
The 03 is for 160kph
I think that is correct.
So my question is my bike has the 00 and has broken glass, messy bezel all rubbers are pretty much shot and the light bulb mount is gone.
I rang a place in Aust and 3 to 400 to fix him up. Ebay has an 03 model for 100 thats the kph one.
So would that go straight on to my bike without changing anything else like the gear thingy on the rear of cable.

Sorted. Figured it out for myself.
Bought a NOS for 1/4 of repair cost. If not calabrated i will use gps and put tiny sticker on 35mph and 80mph.
