Title: Side car

Will a Bantam D7 be ok with a sidecar? Sorry if this has been asked before.

Hi,

Depends on the sidecar.  Really lightweight with correct gearing but not a double adult Busmar.

Dave.

Thank you Dave. It's a Watsonian Monaco

I did just double check the date.
No chance a monaco will work with a Bantam. Even if you got some forward progression you'd never stop it on Bantam brakes

Thank you, it was a half idea. I have a Suzuki GS500 which I was going to put the side car on, and in all honesty would work better anyway for the power and 'speed' but the idea crossed my mind to see if it would work on a bantam, but sub 10hp and drum brakes didn't make me think it would be safe let alone practical.

Get one designed for a scooter.
