Post by: rustyboots on 28 Feb, 2025, 15:28
Hi all

While i have the rear wheel locked using the footbrake, i can rotate the wheel back and forth by about 3/8" or 9mm ish, is this normal or is something worn out please.

TIA

Have you got a cotton real rear hub? If so it could be wear 0n the splind ring bolted to the back of the brake drum.

Yep, that's a splined QD rear hub, and it appears that the splines are worn on yours.
