I am trying to refurb the carb.

Is it sensible to push the jet block out or is a good ultrasonic clean good enough.

I worry I might damage it and would prefer not to unless it is recommended.

Thanks
Matthew

In my experience with the 276 I had to remove the jet block to clear the hole as marked in diagram as it had solid deposits. 1/64 inch diameter drill.

Yep, absolutely it's essential to be able clean the carb properly.
Gentle heating with a heat gun will allow the block to be removed easily enough.
