Does anyone else have a B40 Star with no mount for a side stand? As mine doesn't.
The bike seems to have been part of a fleet so the customer may have just not wanted them? Or a general fleet cost cutting measure? I believe the later Fleet Stars lacked them...
My long-departed 1961 never had one either.
