Title: oil pump change
Post by: briand2 on 31 Oct, 2024, 16:21
Is it possible to use an oil pump from an A65 on an A10 if the drive spindle is changed to an A10 drive spindle?

Hi,

From what I understand, the body of the A65 pump can be used with the A10 drive. They go the opposite way when in use but the A10 and earlier A65 have the same capacity.  I suppose it may easier to find a less worn A65 pump body.
Do a search on this Forum and you should find some more information re different pumps.
If you are rebuilding an engine and have any doubts about the pump it is probably worth investing in a new one.  It may seem a lot of money but not when compared to the cost of a rebuild.
