Title: A65 exhaust blowing
Post by: oliverg on 30 Sep, 2024, 21:22
On my A65 Firebird, the exhaust blows where pipe fits in cylinder head. I can't hear any excess noise, but you can feel air blowing out. Is this a common issue? it doesn't bother me that much. I don't think there's any gasket. I thought I'd try a bit of exhaust paste.

Any silicon sealer will do the job better than paste that just dries up and falls out.

Agreed. Don't waste your money on the high temperature stuff. Any silicon (not acrylic) sealer works and any excess will just burn off.
