Title: Amal concentric 625 with enrichment lever?!
Post by: Stubaker58 on 30 Sep, 2024, 15:19
After many years messing about with Bantams I thought I'd seen everything yet ... recently I've come across two trial Bantams fitted with an Amal 625 concentric, both on the end of a long inlet manifold.
From what I can see it's a very different instrument to the standard mark 1 Concentric.  Out of interest I had a look on fleabay and lo and behold I'm now the proud owner of one (not yet arrived).
So what is the advantage?
Is it just better for trials or do folks run the on a road Bantam?
Thanks

On monoblocs for 2 strokes the needle jet is cut away at an angle wether it is the same on a concentric?

Yes, the spray tube is slanted on (most) Bantam carbs but the 625 is rather different.
I'll post a couple of photos when it arrives.
