Title: 1960 Super Rocket Foot Peg Question
Post by: Shippo on 07 Sep, 2024, 20:09
Hi All
New to BSA and was wondering how to move the footpegs back to clubman style on my super rocket. Is this possible without frame mods or not.
Thanks in advance

This covers options?
Correct way is to weld the ears with internal hex to the front lower limb of the pillion footrest loops, then the hex bar studs and spacers, special cranked brackets to fit folding footrests too.
Flip the gear lever and replace brake pedal with shorter GS/RGS type or cut and shut your old pedal.
The method in the linked thread looks pretty simple- I've also seen the brake side footrest mounted through the brake lever spindle.

The lugs you require are available on ebay I think

The beauty of the mod in the linked thread means no major mods and although you do not get any ability to adjust height/position of the footrests the pegs end up in the same place that they do with all the parts.
