Title: B25 Stator
Post by: Sabre on 14 Aug, 2024, 14:47
Not sure about this but although the plastic on my stator has broken around the coils can it still be used repaired or does it need replacing ?.
Thanks in advance

as long as there is no physical contact between the rotor and stator you should be fine
you can use a very thin piece of plastic to feed in-between the 2 - I think there is an .008" gap but someone will correct me I'm sure

as long as it is charging and you can see no physical or electrical damage to the coils - again fine

Yep 8 thou. I usually cut up a milk bottle into strips and place them around the rotor to give even clearance.
