Title: Differences between B31 and B33
Post by: Kernowpete2 on 13 Aug, 2024, 06:50
How noticeable is the difference between a sorted B31 and a sorted B33 when riding? Will the B33 comfortably cruise a bit faster than the 55 I do on my B31? Is the B33 more vibey? Is the the B33 less inclined to slow down on steep hills etc etc?
Thanks

Bit more torque, bit more power (all relative of course!)
Will pull 19T engine sprocket so less fussy cruising
No difference in vibration assuming correctly set up and balanced

I find that my B33 is more comfortable for A roads as less need to use the gear box. Top speed difference is about 7 mph according to road test. Realistically it will get up to 80mph but not easy to maintain settle for 75 as top speed will be about right. If you need more get a Goldie. With a small amount of tuning you could get 90mph easily.
