Title: Petrol tank cap/anorak question
Post by: yellow B31 on 22 Jul, 2024, 09:41
My 1949 B31 has been rebuilt by a previous owner with much stainless steel being used to replace the original fixings and fastenings.
One item that looks lovely but is a rubbish fit is the s/s petrol tank cap so would like to replace with a good used original one.
Did BSA use a particular manufacturer/supplier or are they all much of a muchness?

Thanks. Something you don't think about until you see how rubbish pattern parts are.

Hi,

I bought 3 new petrol tank caps from C&D Autos and they are good quality and fit well.

Dave.
