I would check for air leakage... connection carburettor cylinder head....if that is not the case....might be some dirt in carburettor? Not enough fuel and too much air?

Just easy suggestions....good luck

Dirty fuel?
What carb are you running?
How are your filters?

Does it flood up/tickle ok when you start from cold?

Although it's tempting to ask for the instant Net fix, there's no substitute for going through and checking all the basics of fuel, timing, ignition etc.
Personally I would start with the easier option of checking the points, timing etc.

Thanks to all , i have not been able to reply earlier because of the  I/T issue that happened last week .
It seems possible that the air screw was  over adjusted .
I have run  it on the centre stand  briefly  through all gears  and seemed ok
Many thanks again

Good news! Check under load and make sure that the adjustments of an air screw are within specification.
If the screw cuts the air totally (full tight) and engine runs still means you have air leakage.
That would be my guess.
