Title: Roundtank steering head
Post by: GeoffStovold on 04 Jul, 2024, 19:10
Hi,

A Roundtank in my possession has had non standard work done on the steering head. Picture attached. I would like to restore it to standard. I am wondering if in the first instance any other owner could furnish me with a similar picture so that I can see what an original looks like. I guess I will need to try and source new races and ball bearigs.

Any help or advice I will be grateful for.

Geoff

Many thanks Mark. I have since done some more research and found that I need to try and source the following parts:

27-5635  Ball Head Top Cup
27-5645  Ball Head Bottom Cup
27-5650  Steering stem bottom crown cup
27-5640  Steering stem ball head clip

If anyone has any ideas where I may source these parts please let me know
Thanks Geoff
