Title: BSA singles, by Roy Bacon
Post by: V500 on 15 May, 2024, 17:23
What's this book like for info and detail on the B31, B32, B33 and B34? Not interested in the C range or Bantams.
Thanks.

Its ok to a point. A number of nice period photos and large exploded diagrams if you are looking for original details but I also find it lacks specific detail in places.
As an example a current thread on this Forum is ammeters but this book will not help you at all.
Lots of specifications in the back of the book on paint codes, gear ratios, detail changes year by year etc.
A useful book and I do refer to it from time to time but most of the info is on the internet if you search long enough.

OK thanks, so, much like every other work by Mr Bacon by the sounds of it. I think I'll pass. 8)
