Hi guys, I bought a new Oil Pump Spindle from a supplier in Sydney to match the Oil pump drive pinion that I bought from England. When I fitted the 2 together it locked the engine up.
I replaced the spindle with the old 1 and it spun over good. When I compared them I noticed that the new one was machined in a different spot. The machining starts 4.1mm from the tacho side and stops at 13.5mm from the crank side and it is noticably different to the original one. Can anyone tell me if there is different spindles and pinions available or is this faulty machining.
The supplier says that they are all the same in the stock that he has.
Thanks once again Pete
