Title: PLUNGER A10 REAR AXLE NUT
Post by: UNCLE CHUFTY on 30 Mar, 2024, 14:34
Could someone help with the dimensions of the 2 nuts on the rear axle and rear stub axle on a plunger A10 , as I'd like to make my own . I know the A/F on the big nut is equivalent to a 3/4 whit spanner and the thread in the same nut is 7/8" 20 TPI.
Cheers , UNCLE CHUFTY

Hi,

I'm North Lincs so bit far.  There may be someone closer.  New ones are available and in stainless steel.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but I do believe that the thread for these are whitworth and if I remember correctly they are 20 TPI, as I had to order a tap for these and I still have it, I got it when I was doing the WM 20  bikes
