Hi there all.
Some advice asked about the TS bush.
The short story is , have a early A65 1963 case. I've run this for over more as 35 years. It has a late crank in it (734 crank). Done many miles on it and had 2 regrind . Now it is totale worn. TS side and drive side. Won't go further with it.
Already have an good other early crank (175 ?) and planning to go to the original set up.
Had always FB bushes in (thin flange), with the other set up I need a thicker flanged bush. I have one already but is it right that I am seeing only steel bushes with brons insert, When I am shopping around. Can see nowhere dowels or pegged. Read on your forum of the possibility of turning the insert and block the oilholes.
Isn't it a pressed fit nowadays so it can't turn? What could be the reason why it turns?
Has it happened to many owners? Are there old bushes in FB like I used to use?
The 2 FB bushes on the picture are the late type (worn), the steel one is old type. (New).
Some advice wanted, Greetz gup.
