Title: 1968 A50 Royal Star Wheels
Post by: Newton on 07 Mar, 2024, 21:09
I have wheels hubs from the above and was wondering when getting them rebuilt if there is any offset with the rims?

Many thanks
Paul

  Hi Paul,
I am no expert, but from what I have read on here, the place for knowledge, there should be no offset, on the front wheel at least. I am having a rim rebuilt for mine with a TLS hub, and I was told no offset required. Hopefully someone with the knowledge will correct us, before we proceed !  Thanks Iwan.

I can vouch for that. On mine, the rim sits bang in the middle between the forks at 2" rim to centre line of each fork. Mine is a 1970 with TLS brake.
It rides straight and handles perfectly. Hope this helps!
