Title: A10 plunger forks
Post by: topher on 10 Feb, 2024, 12:50
Can someone confirm this is the correct orientation of the fork seal please - "open" face pointing down. Thanks

Always remember,
Spring towards the oil

This applies everywhere, just imaging the spring coil keeping the wiping lip tight on the shaft in the middle.

So in your case , spring down to keep the oil in the bottom fork leg

That's a bit confusing because to me the spring is down in the picture. But I'm guessing as per the previous answer you're both saying it should be the other way.
Thanks both.

Sorry not a great photo. Yes that's the end of the seal holder as it would be screwed onto the top of the slider. Thanks again.
