Title: 1953 BSA B31 S GEARBOX ISSUES
Post by: briancairns on 19 Jan, 2024, 09:01
Hi
Just wondering woud anyone can figure out whats going on with my gearbox:

difficult to get into first
hard to find neutral
very hard to find 2nd gear
3rd and 4th gear fine.
This is a recent thing, previously gears just a bit sticky, I know its a 'slow' gearbox and change appropriately
Cheers
Brian

Clutch dragging would be my first thought.

Clutch seems to be perfect.

Thanks

Very hard to engage gears when engline is off. Lack of inertia .

Thanks
