Title: C11 dynamo 1951
Post by: Sgrant on 18 Jan, 2024, 10:33
Hi all,
I have just acquired a BSA C11 1951.
It has a E3HM-LO which has gear on the drive.
Guessing it should have a sprocket.
Also guessing it's the wrong dynamo.
Could someone please help with the correct Lucas Number.
I am having trouble cross referencing with BSA part number
Thanks
Steve

The 1949/1950 on C11 was fitted with dynamo marked 20010A, same as the A10 only the sprocket differed. The later A10 one, marked 20036A also fits.

Diagram below.

The C11 took an 13 tooth sprocket on the armature and the A10 an 11 tooth sprocket.

The E3HM is the short lower output type fitted to an earlier magdyno.
