Title: C15 fork clunk
Post by: Tigerfeet on 17 Dec, 2023, 09:15
When lifting my C15 project rolling chassis around, I've noticed there is clunk from the front forks when the bike is lifted.  Is that normal?

I have checked the forks and head bearings for play, and there is none, so thought the forks were ok.

I haven't yet checked if there is any fork oil in them - I suspect not.

Have you checked that it's not the brake plate knocking against the fork? I had this on mine and thought I had worn fork bushes but found the brake plate was knocking against the fork.
