Title: Frame tank mount 67 BSA Lightning

Hello, I just got a 1967 BSA lightning and they had a different tank on it so they cut off the bracket welded to the top tube that helps mount the tank to the bike, I have to make and weld one back onto the frame can somebody help out and give me the distance from the head tube to the beginning of the bracket and the dimensions of the bracket if possible. If you could help, I would be very helpful . Thank you.Homer

Hi,

The workshop manual has a frame drawing with dimensions.  Page D2 in Frame and Fittings. It may help.

Hopefully this helps, 22,8 cm from top tube, dimensions are 32x32mm.
