Could anyone please recommend what tyres to put on my B31 and some links as to good suppliers?
I like the look of "slightly knobbly" rear
Also, same recommendation for battery and footrest rubbers please.

A Motobatt gel battery works well; if you have one of those rubber things that resembles an original type battery, measure up the inside. You should be able to get a 6v, 6ah battery that will fit.
(Edited) I nearly forgot! The advantage of the Motobatt is that it keeps its charge for a long time; ideal if you don't ride your bike every week, and especially good this time of year.
I tend to use Yuasa batteries but the gel ones do sound like a good idea.
I used an Avon Speedmaster II 3.25 x 19 ribbed front and original Roadrunner 3.50 x 19 rear but I don't think available now. My 'Goldie' has Avon Roadriders that I really like.
Modern Speedmasters have better rubber than the 'skidmasters' of old so I would go SM II front 3.25x19 ribbed front and SM 3.50x19 rear.
It may be inadvisable to use a Gel battery, unless you have an electronic voltage regulator fitted. If you are still using the original CVC unit, I'd go for a wet battery.
