Title: A65 Any Problems Changing Cases
Post by: pbucks on 15 Oct, 2023, 16:07
The engine on my imported A65 has a non-standard number BA6000 so i've picked up new cases A65 T 3552.
This is on a 1965 lightling I belive, are there any pitfalla I should be aware of?

Hi, If the bike is already registered and the motor is running fine, then I wouldn't change anything. Soon as you start to put the motor bits into the other cases your then looking at line boring the cases, new bush etc etc.

Hi,

I agree with Allan.  If it ain't broke, don't fix it.   A65T denotes Thunderbolt but the cases are for the most part interchangeable.

Dave.
