Being of the wrong age, I'm not exactly sure on the sizes required for the fuel taps. Am I right in thinking that I need a 3/8" thread to tap into the fuel tank?
So I'll need a couple of these https://www.classicbikepartscheshire.com/carburettors-fuel-c1/fuel-tap-fittings-c2/chrome-fuel-tap-adaptor-for-classic-motorcycle-1-4-to-3-8-bsp-p5063 (https://www.classicbikepartscheshire.com/carburettors-fuel-c1/fuel-tap-fittings-c2/chrome-fuel-tap-adaptor-for-classic-motorcycle-1-4-to-3-8-bsp-p5063)
to go with these? https://www.classicbikepartscheshire.com/carburettors-fuel-c1/fuel-taps-c86/triumph-bsa-petrol-tap-main-chrome-flat-lever-classic-motorcycle-1-4-x-1-4-with-ferrule-p951 (https://www.classicbikepartscheshire.com/carburettors-fuel-c1/fuel-taps-c86/triumph-bsa-petrol-tap-main-chrome-flat-lever-classic-motorcycle-1-4-x-1-4-with-ferrule-p951)?
It would help to know what the bike is and what type tank your putting them on. Some tanks had 3/8BSP taps and some had 1/4BSP taps as standard.
If its an Indian tank it will be 3/8 bsp.
