Hi folks. Are the RR unit single manuals vol 1 and 2 still available? I can find no contact details for the bloke, and the publisher has closed I think. Anyone selling eother, especially vol 1? Thanks.

Anoraks unite! I'm old enough to have had one when they first came out as a thing in the 60's! I was lead to believe they were somehow not available from them due to the silly money some seem to want for them. They still have the paypal links on their page, but no 'contact us' link, so was wary of clicking on until I verified it with them.

I have found the original BSA parts book very useful to go with the Rupert Ratio books. Especially to work out what threads your working with the Starfire can have a bewildering variety of threads the front mudguard used BSC, BSF, and UNF and every bolt is a different length. There's usually a few on eBay if you don't mind oily fingerprints
