Title: C10L wiring
Post by: ScottB on 21 Aug, 2023, 14:49
Hi all,
Really struggling with the messed about with wiring on my 1957 C10L.
Firstly is it positive or negative earth?
Secondly has anyone got a basic wiring diagram or even so basic to just produce a spark? Mine doesn't appear to have a regulator, just some wires terminated under the seat? Any help greatly appreciated.

Scott the C10L is positive earth.

There is no regulator, just a rectifier which from what you sayis probably missing.

I did post 3 further wiring diagrams back on the 15th covering the earlier single switch circuits. In these the lighting and ignition switches are combined into one interconnected switch.

Back at the C10L after abandoning it for a year! I have bought a Wassel 6v positive earth regulator but don't know which wire to connect to what as their diagram doesn't match the bsa one. The wires coming from the alternator are; green/black.  Green/yellow.  White/green.  Extremely grateful for suggestions.
Thanks
