My B31 sump plate has two different size sump studs. On the opposite sides. Is this correct? I have seen this before on an engine I seen for sale. I believe one of the larger stud threads may be stripped and am concerned it may already have been tapped out to its maximum.

Threads have been stripped in the past.If it seals leave them or use stepped studs. Two of my bikes are like that.
