Title: Blue Star Speedo Drive
Post by: Hot Frog on 24 Jul, 2023, 20:26
Stumped.

I have the speedo and fitting for the front hub but cannot see how the speedo attaches into the sleeve...........square peg in round hole......pics attached

Thanks in anticipation!

That doesn't look like a BSA speedo drive. They have no thread on them. You can use that type, but you'd need to get a tube sleeve made up.  Ron

Also have you checked that you have the correct rotation for a right hand side brake plate? You have to work it out from the forward rotation of the driving gear in the hub. The small gear is obviously going in the opposite direction and the slot that drives the inner speedo cable should rotate clockwise.  Regards Ron
