My 1961 B40 needs a new battery.
The part number of the one currently fitted is LUCAS L6N11A1B which is a 6v 11ah 130a spec
There is an option of a LUCAS L6N11A-3A-1 which is also a 6v 11ah but 88a spec
They both have same dimensions.
Has anyone used the second part number on a B40 ? Any problems or any advice ?

11 ah is a good electrical capacity for a 6v machine
The other number may well be changed, cold cranking amps which frankly does not apply as our bikes don't have electric start
