Title: C15 Forks question
Post by: WOLFIE on 08 Oct, 2017, 15:52
OK this is the question...

What does the aluminium part do inside the forks?? Is it supposed to slide freely in the tube or not?

Hi,
Looks like they are fitted to competition models, probably to reduce the fork damper travel for better control and leave more stanchion in the slider for addition strength during arduous conditions.

Best wishes...

It is just a spacer tube and may be a tight fit in the fork bottom. It was fitted to all the C15 lightweight forks.
