This is the gearbox as fitted to the B29/B30 in the early forties. Does anyone know of anyone in UK who is good with these? Ron
Whereabouts are you located?
Looks like he's in his workshop

Ha Ha! My Workshop is near Bournemouth! Ron
I am struggling with B26 handchange box.The main shaft is too short to take later clutch sleeves.Any ideas ,clutch sleeves?Or can I put a later shaft in.? I have a handchange box for spares if anyone interested.
I had exactly this issue with my WB30. My parts list quotes 65-3930. I scoured the World and found one NOS is Australia. The firm wouldn't deal with me in UK, so I got a friend in Ozz to buy it and post it over.
I don't know what sleeve you need? But the trouble is, if you could change the main shaft, it will be longer which will put your clutch out of line with the engine sprocket. Ron
I could shim out the Cush drive sprocket.I have a sleeve like the picture that I found at a bike jumble.Trouble is the clutch primary chain runs too close to the main chain to fit the case.I am thinking of trying a B31 box .Any thoughts ?Dave
Sorry I can't help any further on that. I just know that on my B30, the sleeve was a special to keep the clutch in line with the slimmer design engine. The same thing applied to the previous model B29. But I don't know anything before that. Have you got a parts list for comparison of numbers? Ron
