Any advice on the best rear shocks for a 1972 A65 Lightning OIF?
replica originals (with NOS springs?) seem pretty reasonable, are Hagons worth the extra? Any others?
Hagons are ok, but there are far better alternatives for less money, as Oif have 12.9" (or shorter for 72 models) this stops you using "NJB Ultimate" shocks which are fantastic, however KONI are great shocks and for a little extra money Koni dial-a-ride.
I fitted the dial-a-ride to my thunderbolt 823cc bike. To keep the original look I ordered them with chrome springs and bare steel bodies, then painted the bodies dove grey. You could order them with black bodies and chrome springs... as standard they have chrome bodies and black springs.
