Has anyone successfully used a modern fuel taps to replace the one in the image. I need a right and left handed set with similar dimensions as space is at a premium.

I used BAP taps on my OIF small tank A65 Bess if thats any good for you. The only trouble is that sometimes these can be weak on the threads as there isn't much material in the threaded area. HTH
