Title: Steering head bearings.
Post by: scousebantam on 30 May, 2023, 13:07
I have just spent more than an hour on the web looking for a steering head bearing set for a D3 Bantam,
can anyone recommend a dealer who may have one please?

Have you tried Burton Bike Bits? I note that the upper bearing (65-5319) is the same on all the standard Bantams and it is only the lower bearing that changed. Not sure whether the later lower bearing will fit?

Just an update, no Spaceman I didn't try Burton Bike Bits at the time, I bought new ball bearings and I managed to remove any burrs from the races and it is all assembled now and feels pretty smooth.
