Title: A10 dynamo belt drive
Post by: Rick Rybicki on 23 May, 2023, 10:19
Hi, got my dynamo sorted by APL Magnetos in Shaftsbury. Thanks for advice.
I have a belt drive that was supplied by Hawker Electrics some years ago. I believe he is no longer trading. Can anyone point me in the direction of a supplier of appropriate replacement belts? I want to replace the belt when I refit the dynamo.
Thanks, Rick.

Hi,

If it is the 6mm 'V' belt then any belt stockist will have them.  On My wife's A10 we found that the Opti belt was not that good but that Conti-tech last a long time.

Dave.

Thanks for info. I've just got a belt from "Simply Bearings". The pully looks more like 5mm but the nearest belt is 6mm. I'll see how we get on and report back. Cheers, Rick.
