Title: Refurbish old brake plate
Post by: ROYC on 13 Feb, 2017, 12:49
8 inch full width.
When I think back to the early 60's.
The brake plate had a chrome edge to it, sadly these are no longer available new, so will they polish up or better still will they chrome ?

The edges were polished alloy rather than chrome. They will polish up very nicely.

Funnily enough that was exactly what I was doing this morning!
Got the mop attached to the electric grinder and it came up better than it will ever look again while I own it.
