Title: B31 engine and m20 frame which exhaust
Post by: watts on 21 Mar, 2023, 11:47
Hello

Apologies for starting a new message I do not seem to be able to add to my previous one.  IT problems at my end or user failure!

I need a replacement exhaust for my M20/B31 (M31 not that they built one).

It is my is my understanding a M20 and B31 plunger frame of 1951/2 are identical, some styling differences.
I assume the design of the exhaust and silence is determined by the engine plates, tube size, port size and angle and silencer mount point.

If this is true then a header pipe and silencer for a B31 of this age should fit?

If not do what do I need?

Thank you

Best wishes
Matthew
