Title: mATCHING NUMBERS

My Bantam has the following numbers:  engine  BD471   Frame  BD2516564.
Does that mean that they left the factory at the same time?

I can't say I fully understand the Bantam numbering system but assume the numbers are BD-471 and BD2-16564 relating to a 1954 D1?
