Hi,
I'm gradually making progress with a B40 I bought. The engine is stripped and the cases welded up and prepared.
My thoughts are going ahead to the rebuild and especially the sludge trap.
My question is ... is it ok to clean the sludge trap without splitting the crank? Or if I don't will I likely get crud into the crank?
