Hi,
My break-hub rear sprocket is badly hooked so I am replacing it.
I have been advised to change the gearbox/ engine sprocket at the same time.
Is the gearbox sprocket change a big/complicated job ? What does it entail? And do I need any specialist tools?
Cheers
Brian
You will need to remove the nearside foot rest outer chain case, engine sprocket and cush drive. Also the clutch and the inner chaincase before you can access the gearbox sprocket. This only needs the clutch centre removal tool.
Thanks Idie,
Too much for a mechanical novice ?
Cheers
