You will need to say which year your A65 tank is - the fixing screws varied over the years.

Ah,...ok.
That im not sure of as its a replacment mild steel tank for my 66 Hornet,as i wanted a slightly different look.
I assume there something imperial equivelent to an m5 or similar?

For a 1966 tank with pear shaped tank badges, the 4 x screws were: 11/16" Long, 1/8" Diameter with a Thread Pitch of 40 TPI (6BA)

I believe that the tank badge screws were 1/8" Whitworth which is 40TPI.  BSA part number was 82-8250.

The part numbers were:

65: 68-8090
66/67: 40-8125
68/69: 82-8250

Need to look them up to see what the differences were.

Yes, the earlier part numbers (68-8090 and 40-8125) were for the plastic badges and I should have qualified my response that 82-8250 is for the metal tank badges.  I have noticed that a retailer has advertised 40-8016, 40-8125 and 68-8090 as 3BA.
