Title: Tracking Down a BSA
Post by: Josh. on 27 Jan, 2023, 13:31
Good Afternoon All,

I'm currently trying to track down a bit of family history. I've unfortunately tried the GOV website but unfortunately it does not recognise the registration which has lead me to this forum.

Unfortunately I know little about the bike other than it was a BSA and it's reg was EX 3290, it was displayed at the Bygone Village/Village Experience in Fleggburgh Norfolk for many years until the site closed and everything was auctioned off - Is there any other places or ways that any one can recommend to try and find any more information out about the bike and if perhaps it is still around with the limited information I have?

Thanks in Advance
Regards
Josh

EX3290 is a Great Yarmouth  number from 1933 or 1934.

Some Norfolk Motor Tax records survived and are held at the Norfolk Records Office. If the record for this bike have survived they may be able to provide you, for a fee,  some information about the bike  though what they have may be limited.
